1. Overview

AdOff Premium (Premium plan) includes a real VPN tunnel powered by VPNresellers.com infrastructure. This document explains exactly what data we collect, how we handle privacy, and what your rights are as an AdOff Premium subscriber.

This VPN Policy supplements the general Privacy Policy. In case of conflict, this VPN Policy prevails for VPN-related matters.

The short version: We log nothing about your traffic. We only track whether your VPN account is active or disabled, and when it was last used, for billing purposes. We do not know which sites you visit, what you download, or who you communicate with.

2. What We Collect (and What We Don't)

We DO NOT collect:

  • × Browsing history, visited sites, or DNS queries
  • × Downloaded or uploaded files
  • × Source or destination IP addresses of your traffic
  • × Timestamps of individual connections or sessions
  • × Bandwidth usage per session or per day
  • × Communication metadata (who you connect to, when, how often)
  • × Original IP addresses before the VPN tunnel
  • × Any data that passes through the VPN tunnel

We DO collect (minimum necessary for billing):

Data Purpose Retained
VPN account status Billing activation / deactivation Duration of subscription + 30 days
Last connection timestamp Auto-disable inactive accounts (7-day rule) Duration of subscription + 30 days
Account ID (VPNresellers) Map license to VPN account Duration of subscription + 30 days
Device ID (AdOff license) Anti-sharing: one account per device Duration of subscription + 30 days

This data is used only to manage your VPN subscription and ensure billing accuracy. It tells us whether your account is active and when you last connected — not what you did.

3. Jurisdiction & Data Location

AdOff is operated from European Union. All AdOff Premium VPN accounts are provisioned on servers located in Switzerland and the European Union.

Switzerland and the EU have strong data protection laws. Switzerland is not an EU member but has an adequacy decision from the European Commission, meaning personal data transfers are considered adequately protected. No data is stored or processed outside these jurisdictions.

4. No-Log Commitment

AdOff Premium maintains a strict no-log policy for all VPN traffic. Specifically:

  • We do not keep records of your online activity through the VPN.
  • We do not monitor, log, or store the content of any communications passing through our VPN servers.
  • We do not keep timestamps associated with individual user sessions.
  • We do not retain bandwidth usage data per user.
  • We do not sell, share, or disclose any data about your VPN usage to third parties.

Important: While we are committed to no-logging, you are responsible for your own actions while using the VPN. AdOff cannot be held responsible for how you use your VPN connection. Use for lawful purposes only.

5. Billing & Connection Status

The only connection-related data we store is a last connection timestamp (the last time your VPN app checked in with our server). This is used to:

  • Auto-disable inactive accounts: If your VPN account has no connection activity for more than 7 consecutive days, it is automatically disabled to stop billing. Re-enabling is instant and automatic when you reconnect.
  • Subscription management: When your Premium subscription ends or is cancelled, your VPN account is disabled immediately.

This timestamp is a single daily checkpoint (not per-session logging) and cannot be used to reconstruct your browsing history or session times.

6. P2P & Torrent Policy

P2P and BitTorrent traffic is allowed on AdOff Premium VPN, subject to the following terms:

  • Use for lawful purposes only. Downloading or sharing copyrighted material without the rights holder's permission is prohibited.
  • Bandwidth is not artificially capped, but usage must be within reasonable personal use limits (we reserve the right to restrict accounts exhibiting abnormal usage patterns).
  • VPNresellers.com (our upstream provider) permits P2P on select servers. The VPN app will indicate which servers support P2P.

DMCA / Copyright Notices: Due to our no-log policy, we cannot identify individual users from traffic data — there is nothing to identify. If VPNresellers.com receives an abuse report, we will act on it by disabling the implicated account (kill-switch abuse response). We strongly recommend using P2P only for legal content.

7. Kill-Switch

AdOff Premium includes a kill-switch on supported platforms: if the VPN connection drops unexpectedly, all internet traffic is blocked until the VPN is reconnected. This prevents your real IP address from leaking during reconnection.

The kill-switch is available on:

  • AdOff VPN for Android (coming with Premium launch)
  • AdOff VPN for desktop (coming post-launch)

The kill-switch is optional and can be enabled/disabled in the VPN app settings.

8. Security

  • Protocols: WireGuard (default) and OpenVPN supported. WireGuard uses modern cryptography (Curve25519, ChaCha20-Poly1305, BLAKE2s).
  • TLS: All communication between your device and our API uses TLS 1.2+.
  • Key exchange: ECDH with P-256 or X25519 depending on protocol.
  • No third-party DNS: DNS resolution through the VPN tunnel (1.1.1.1 or upstream resolver).
  • Auto-rotate: Server recommendations are based on latency and server health. We do not log which server you connect to.

9. Abuse & Account Termination

AdOff reserves the right to suspend or terminate Premium VPN accounts in the following cases:

  • Use of the VPN for illegal activities under applicable law.
  • Abuse reports received from upstream providers (VPNresellers.com).
  • Abnormal usage patterns that indicate automated abuse or resale.
  • Sharing an account across more than 3 devices simultaneously.

In case of abuse, we will disable the account immediately. Refunds for terminated accounts are handled on a case-by-case basis.

10. GDPR & Data Rights

As an EU-based service, AdOff complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the following rights regarding your VPN data:

  • Right of access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you (limited to the billing data described in section 2).
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your account data. We will delete your VPN account, billing records, and connection timestamps within 30 days of account termination.
  • Right to portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object: Object to the processing of your data. Note that we cannot stop billing-related processing without cancelling your subscription.
  • Right to withdraw consent: Cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, VPN access is disabled and no further data is processed.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support [at] adoff [dot] app with the subject "GDPR Request".

11. Policy Changes

We may update this VPN Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated via email to active Premium subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect. The effective date is always shown at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
