Is your ad blocker detectable?
Most ad blockers stop ads — but the blocking itself is visible to websites. Anti-adblock systems use that visibility to detect you, then hide content or nag you to disable your blocker. This test checks, in your browser, whether your current setup leaves detectable traces.
100% private: every check runs locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server, nothing is stored. We don't even know you ran it.
Block ads without being detected
AdOff blocks banners, pop-ups, trackers and video ads — and its Stealth technology hides the blocking, so websites can't tell you're using an ad blocker. No anti-adblock walls, no nags.
Install AdOff — free →Blocking ads is not the same as being invisible
There are two very different things an ad blocker can do. The first is blocking: stopping ads from loading or hiding them in the page. Almost every blocker does this. The second is staying invisible: making sure the website cannot tell that any blocking happened. Very few blockers do this.
The test above runs the same kinds of probes that anti-adblock scripts use: it drops a decoy ad element into the page and checks if it gets hidden, and it tries to load known ad-network resources and checks if they get stopped. If your blocker reacts to these probes in a measurable way, a website can detect it — and that is exactly what triggers "please disable your ad blocker" walls.
AdOff's Stealth mode takes the opposite approach. It blocks at the network and cosmetic level and spoofs the signals anti-adblock systems look for, so the probes come back looking completely normal. Ads are gone; the website sees nothing unusual.
No. Every check runs entirely in your browser using local DOM and network probes. No results, no IP, nothing is transmitted or stored. The page works the same offline.
Because it blocks ads in a visible way: it removes decoy elements and stops ad requests, and websites can measure both. That's normal for most blockers — it's the trade-off between blocking and being invisible. Stealth-capable blockers avoid leaving these traces.
AdOff is built specifically for this: network-level blocking plus a stealth layer that bypasses anti-adblock walls, so you block ads without sites knowing. It's lightweight, privacy-first, and free with a 30-day Pro trial.
