Accessibility Statement
AdOff is committed to making adoff.app usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technologies. Accessibility fits what we already believe: a product should work quietly and respect its users, all of them.
Conformance status
Our target is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We believe the main pages of this website (homepage, install, support, pricing, legal pages) currently conform to that level. This is a self-assessment: there is no official third-party WCAG certification scheme, and we prefer stating honestly how we test over displaying a purchased badge.
For visitors in the European Union: WCAG 2.2 AA conformance also covers the web requirements of EN 301 549, the harmonized standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act.
What we do
- Color contrast: the site palette is contrast-checked against WCAG AA ratios (4.5:1 for text), including buttons, footer and secondary text.
- Keyboard navigation: all functionality is reachable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link on every page.
- Semantic structure: native HTML landmarks, labeled forms, alternative text on images, correct
langattributes on all 15 language versions. - Reduced motion: all animations are disabled when your system asks for reduced motion.
- No accessibility overlays: we fix issues in the code instead of masking them with third-party overlay widgets.
How we test
Automated audits with axe-core (WCAG 2.x A/AA rule set) on the main pages, plus manual checks: keyboard-only navigation, zoom up to 200%, and contrast verification of every color token. Audits are repeated when the design system changes.
Known limitations
- The account and admin areas (behind login) have not yet been fully audited.
- The browser extension UI (popup, options, onboarding) passed the same automated WCAG 2.x A/AA audit as of version 3.5.36; updated builds reach the stores as their reviews complete.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website or in the AdOff extension, please tell us through the support form. Describe the page and the problem; we aim to respond within a few business days, and accessibility reports are treated as bugs, not suggestions.
